Since 2002, RedIRIS/Red.es have been involved in promoting Grid Technologies throught the Spanish Scientific Commnunity. It has allow the collaboration in all National Initiatives. RedIRIS/Red.es has participated in several European Projects such as EGEE, CrossGrid, EGEE-II, EUMedGrid, EELA and currently RedIRIS is participating in EGEE-III and Spanish NGI.

As a partner of EGEE-III project one of the responsibilities of RedIRIS/Red.es is promoting training activities to the Spanish Research Comunity and other International Partners. The course is addressed to users and application developers and the objective of this Tutorial is to introduce in detail Grid Technologies to attendees highlighting the practical usage.

The Tutorial will be hosted at Centro Informático Científico de Andalucía (CICA) and the participation is limited to 20 attendees. People coming from Spanish Research and Academic Community, Spanish NGI, and European Project EGEE-III will have priority for attending this tutorial.
