Since 2002, RedIRIS/Red.es have been involved in promoting Grid Technologies throught the Spanish Scientific Commnunity. It has allow the Spanish Scientific Community to have common infrastructures as well in housing Grid National Initiatives and supporting dissemintatioin activities. RedIRIS/Red.es is currently participating in several European Projects such as EGEE, CrossGrid, EGEE-II, EUMedGrid, EELA and Internacionaly Global Grid Forum.

As a partner of EELA, EUMedGrid and EGEE Projects one of the responsabilities of RedIRIS/Red.es is promoting training activities to the Spanish Research Comunity and other International Partners. Last October, RedIRIS/Red.es organized the first Grid Computing tutorial for the Spanish Research and Academic community and due to its success it has been seen the need of organizing second one.

The course is addressed to users and sysadmin with the topic of EGEE Middleware within NA3 activity and the objective of this Tutorial is to introduce in detail Grid Technologies to attendees highlighting the practical usage.

The Tutorial will be hosted at Red.es and the participation is limited to 40 attendees. People coming from Spanish Research and Academic Community and European Projects (EELA, EuMedGrid and EGEE-II) will have priority for attending this tutorial.
